The Plaza Hotel is housed in a plain, 8-storey, terraced building, which dates from the 1960s. The exterior of the ground floor is painted green. The lobby is handsome and comfortable, with a polished wood and marble reception desk and a homely wood-panelled lounge, furnished with leather armchairs and sofas. The 80 guestrooms feature warm décor with floral fabrics and dark wood antique furnishings. All are clean and well maintained, as are the functional en suite bathrooms. Snacks and drinks are served in the Victoria Bar, an English-style pub, furnished in oak with wine red decor. The hotel also offers a Continental style buffet every morning in the Orangerie breakfast room, which is cheerfully decorated in sunny colours.
