It is now called The Carlton,+ was probably recently refurbished.Very nice staff, great breakfast, large bedroom -it was all wonderful ! No complaints at all. Also, nice + quiet. It's an easy walk from the rail station, about 10 minutes walk to the main shopping area, about another 10 to the Old Town centre. (Or take a tram )

There's loads to see + do : 6 days wasn't enough !

Well positioned hotel. It is now called the Carlton Hotel and this did cause quite abit of confusion particularly as there is a Golden Tulip hotel near by. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Too many good restaurants within walking distance to name and lots of things to see and do.

A very good smaller hotel, well located for the city centre, Central sration and bus station. The rooms are a good size, the beakfast buffet is good and the location is quiet despite being very convenient.

There are too many bars and restaurants in Antwerp to mention. It's a good place to visit for a weekend -vibrant, with very good shopping, a selection of smll museums, a very impressive cathedral and a very interesting old quarter near the river.

In general great, one problem was that we required an early call on Friday 9th @ 05.15 am, and a taxi at 05.45, to get to the Antwerp airport @ 06.00, the early call was 05.40. NOT SO CLEVER. Very central, reasonably clean, close to the Diamond quater and the restaurants, from that point of view for a short break, very good.
