It is also near the diamond stalls, the restaurants and shops on the Keyserlei and the fashion boutiques on the Meir. The Grote Markt is only fifteen minutes away on foot.

The Atlanta Hotel is housed in an ultra-modern, glass-fronted building, slotted in amongst more traditional architecture in K. Astridplein (Queen Astrid Square), in the heart of Antwerp. The medium sized lobby boasts modern décor, with an imposing granite reception desk, but offers limited seating. The 60 basis guestrooms feature neutral colour schemes. Some have views of the newly renovated central station, while others overlook the Koningin Astridplein. All are basic and reasonably maintained, as are the functional en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a fresh Continental-style buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room. This is a basic hotel in need a some rennovation and upgrading.
