The Empire Hotel is housed in a modern, glass fronted building, which blends in well with the surrounding architecture. Though pleasantly appointed, the lobby is fairly small, with a compact seating area. The 70 spacious guestrooms are characterised by warm toned décor and simple furnishings, with floral print fabrics adding a rustic touch. All are clean and well maintained, as are the functional en suite bathrooms. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but it offers a Continental-style buffet every morning in its welcoming, first-floor breakfast room. For late arrivals, the reception desk is open 24 hours and guests travelling by car can make use of the hotel’s parking facilities next door.
