Though there has been an Agora Hotel in Koningin Astridplein – the square across from the Central station – for decades, this property is brand new and part of the beautiful square’s intense renovation, which has been going on for the past seven years. The tall, grey building is fairly unremarkable in itself. The small lobby is furnished with comfortable sofas, their deep red upholstery contrasting strikingly with the white walls, and features a pine, curving reception desk. The medium sized guestrooms are appointed in a modern style, with laminate floors and soothing cream and beige décor throughout. All are clean and well maintained, as are the functional en suite bathrooms. The hotel also offers a Continental style buffet every morning in its bright, welcoming breakfast room.
